We went to the Goodwill Outlet in Ocala on Thursday, which is always an adventure! There is also a thrift shop that sells clothing for 5 cents so we love to shop there. You can't beat 5 cents! Here are some of our finds of the week. We still need to clean them up but it will wait until I'm out of bed and feeling better.

We found this Coach purse as soon as we walked in the door. It's not in perfect condition but for 72 cents, we couldn't pass it up!
We always buy vintage leather bottom Jansport backpacks when we find them. This one definitely needs cleaned up but we sold a dirty one for $25 a few months ago, so we feel good about it. At 93 cents it's worth the risk!

ReplyDeleteAlso that beware of the Gucci dust cover bag. I found a Tori Burch dust cover bag and eBay flagged it and made me take it down. They said I couldn't sell it with out the original item it came with. I've seen others sell but they didn't want me selling mine.
The Goodwill Outlet seems worth it every once in a while. The prices are amazing but selection isn't as great and physically is a pain! I'd rather drive 10 mins to my regular Goodwill where I've been finding amazing stuff lately and doesn't require all the digging. Still it's fun to checkout the Outlet like once a month.
ReplyDeleteI've only heard of that one 5 cent store. It's out of the way but the value is untouchable! I got two vintage Harley-Davidson shirts for 10 cents. It's just crazy! Wish the store wasn't an hour or so away though.
If they don't let us sell the Gucci bag I'll be too mad! Why didn't they let you sell yours?

eBay just said if what came in the bag wasn't included, we couldn't sell it. We just pulled it. We got it from the outlet so it wasn't an expensive lesson. Hopefully you can sell yours without a problem from eBay
