Edwin Jeans 

  Edwin is a Japanese clothing brand founded in 1947 that focuses on denim jeans. In 1961, Edwin produced its first pair of denim jeans. I'm guessing Workd War II and its destruction were the reason for the delay in production of jeans. Edwin produced the world's heaviest ringspun denim jean, featuring the famous three color rainbow selvedge; which is still being used today. In the 1970's, Edwin became the first company to develop an 'old wash' designed to replicate denim which has been worn from its rigid, unwashed state. The jeans were traditionally designed for work wear due to its durability. Edwin invented 'stone washing' in the 1980's, revolutionizing the entire denim industry. The invention influenced every denim company in existence today. In 2003, Edwin Europe was founded to develop exclusive product for the European market and bring a selection of Japanese items to a new audience. Overall, Edwin is known as an authentic denim brand priding itself on innovation and craftsmanship. 

  Edwin might be the least ebay saturated brand on my A-Z list. There have only been 115 pre-owned pairs sold on eBay recently and only 172 pairs are currently listed. There isn't a large amount of competition selling Edwin jeans; but there is a reason for that: they are hard to find! You won't find Edwin jeans in most thrift stores in America. So, if you do find a pair: BUY IT! 

Here are some recent sales of pre-owned Edwin Jeans: 

Personally, I have found only two pairs of Edwin jeans. Both were in the same Goodwill in Baltimore, Maryland and probably donated by the same person. I sold the white pair quickly for around $23 and the other pair is still listed at $19.00. 

The selling price of my jeans was lower due to the very small size of the jeans. The waist of each pair is only 27". Some tips for selling Edwin jeans: 

1. In terms of Raw Selvedge jeans, Japan is King! Definitely offer international shipping on Edwin items. Honestly, I just use ebay's Global Shipping Program so I don't have to deal with it. 

2. Include Raw Selvedge in your title. Edwin jeans appeal to a certain audience looking for those words. 

3. Edwin jeans are thicker, heavier denim. Make sure to get your shipping weight correct. 

You won't find Edwin jeans every day. When you do, I'd suggest buying them!
